The Lovely Eggs are an underground punk-rock duo from northern England. They have a fierce punk rock ethos that music should have no rules. They have produced two albums (both on Cherryade Records), If You Were Fruit, ranked in the Top 40 records of the year by Artrocker Magazine, and Cob Dominos, which has gained widespread critical acclaim, with “Don’t Look At Me (I Don’t Like It)” (featuring a video with guest appearance from John Shuttleworth) fast becoming an internet hit.

Richard Brautigan (1935-1984) was an American writer with an easy-to-read yet idiosyncratic prose style.

The Brautigan Book Club isn’t a normal book club. Instead, founded by the theatre company saltpeter, it’s a creative society inspired by Brautigan's example, meeting every month throughout 2012 to explore his works.
